Sword of Sherwood Robin Hood, the legendary ‘robber of the rich’, lived with his band of men in Sherwood Forest. Of noble birth, he learned forest lore for survival and protected those facing injustice during King Richard the Lionheart’s absence from England on Crusade. The Sword of Sherwood bears the runes of the forest trees and represents the bravery and generosity characteristic of Robin Hood.
